Keeping your trees trimmed and pruned
are essential for maintaining the overall health and growth of the tree, however trees growing near power lines need an extra amount of attention. Although, trees encountering power lines without other variables, pose no threat, the situation is much more different in the event of a storm.
If a strong enough storm rolls through with strong enough winds, trees overlaying power lines could be knocked down or broken on top of these power lines, causing a power outage and potential exposed wires. Trees or branches that come in direct contact with live wires become instant electrical conductors making it extremely dangerous.
